Charu Jain is Managing Director Information Technology at United Airlines. She is responsible for technology strategy, planning, applications development, and delivery for all of airline operations core business technology. She has spent eleven years with United Airlines in information technology leading applications development, infrastructure and program management. Prior to joining United Airlines, Charu was a Program Manager with Atlanta Gas Light Company and a Manager in the Management Consulting Services practice at Price Waterhouse, LLP. She holds her BA in Economics from Lucknow University in India, and her MBA in International Management from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Illinois. Charu was the United Airlines Corporate Leadership award recipient in 2001 and has recently been selected by Computerworld as one of their 2009 Premier 100 IT leaders.
