Sandeep Adwankar
Sandeep Adwankar is a Sr. Product Manager with Motorola’s Mobile Devices Business. He is currently focused on new product initiatives, product strategy and management in cloud services. Earlier, Sandeep was Sr. business development manager with Motorola ventures for three years. In ventures, Sandeep helped fund more than ten early stage accelerator startup businesses. Sandeep started career as a founding member of Motorola Labs where he led number of advanced research projects in broadband networking and mobile platforms for six years. In Motorola, Sandeep authored more than ten technical publications, five Internet Drafts and filed eight patents and passed the Motorola’s DSS GreenBelt Exam.
Before joining Motorola, Sandeep was Sr. Engineer and developed management systems in Tellabs for their optical and broadband transport system. He also worked in IBM software group and IBM’s Tokyo Research Lab in Japan for three years to develop new software products.
Sandeep earned Master of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and MBA from DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, Chicago. Sandeep lives in Buffalo Grove, IL with his wife and two kids and is active member of IIT Midwest.
